We were upgraded to a two cabin junk called the Valentine, as it was our 1st wedding anniversary this made it even more special. This trip was one our favourite things we’ve done during 6 months of travelling. The boat was beautiful each cabin had a jacuzzi bath and was gorgeously decorated and we had amazing views of the bay. The team onboard were all fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. Special mention to (Hugh Jackman) who took us out on the trips and was very knowledgeable, he was really great at his job. We were also lucky to be joined by a really lovely couple as well. The food was fantastic 5 courses for every meal it was all fresh and delicious. The itinerary was great you had time to relax but we’re never bored. I can’t recommend this company enough If you are looking for a half no bay trip pay the extra and book this company.

The Valentine Junk is full of character and completely reflects the setting, it's purpose and added authenticity to our journey through the stunning scenery of the bay. Our cabin was very large with a bath/Jacuzzi and separate shower. All of the accommodation was faultlessly clean. The staff ( Wendy , Hai and Manh) were incredibly attentive and obliging and full of knowledge about the area. Nothing was too much trouble. Halong Bay is a jewel not to be missed.

We had a fantastic 2 nights/3 days on the Valentine, just us 2 and one other couple plus crew. (Luckily other couple were good company to be with). Lovely cabin (small but very good) great bathroom and facilities on board great. Food was very good though far too much! We felt happy that we were on a small boat not one with 30 + cabins. Bay is very very busy, lots of boats and people be prepared. Our guide (Hong) took us to locations at “quieter “ times so less frantic. She was a great guide, a delight, lovely happy girl and really helpful. She and the crew made this a special trip.
