My partner and I enjoyed the 3 day 2 night cruise and both really enjoyed it. The cabin is small but big enough and the staff were really friendly and helpful, also the food was excellent. Tour guide Tom is very knowledgable about the bay, the cave and fishing village we visited. We also was able to go kayaking and swimming.

Had the most amazing time on Dragon Pearl 1. Picked up in luxury van with wifi and great driver. That was just the beginning, the crew are amazing! Cabins are beautiful and great to have your own bathroom. Can't thank Bach, Spider-Man, Quin, Alex, Mr Flute, Captain & the rest of crew enough they went above and beyond as none of us wanted to leave. Thank you Dragon boat family we can't wait to come back. Don & Sara.

I would highly recommend this cruise to everyone visiting Vietnam! After a tiring 4 days exploring Hanoi, a luxury mini van (large seats, air con, wifi) picked us up from our hotel and the Halong bay adventure began. There were just 12 of us on this particular trip. It was very well organised throughout, we had no issues at all. Despite the weather not being kind, our guide, Tom, made sure that we were kept occupied, including kayaking through a thunder storm! The views were unforgettable! Having no wifi was really therapeutic and it was an escape from the real world. The food on Dragon Pearl was some of the best we've ever had, 7 - 9 courses of fresh, home made delights. It was really special dining outside in the evening when the rain passed! The ship was immaculate and very well maintained. We loved our cosy cabin! I would love to return and experience the same again (maybe with some sunshine!) It was a real highlight of our trip to Vietnam.

We didn't know what to expect on this overnight expedition in Halong Bay. To our great surprise we were invited to board the Dragon Pearl #3 boat which turned out to be a luxurious vessel with all of the amenities one could ask for including a suite with a private shower and bathroom, 4 fantastic meals cooked by a wonderful crew and all overseen by a mysterious pilot and a very lively and informative host named Mr. Kim (not sure I remember the name). We gently cruised among these wonderful outcrops, getting ready to see a superb sunset and looking forward to a beautiful dinner and leisurely evening gazing at the stars. The next day, we were transported around in a small sampan, rowed by a very quiet but efficient young lady. She showed us some small floating villages and fish farms as well as a Pearl Farm where one could buy magnificent cultured pearls, at a price that was appealing. We finished off this great visit with our return on the Dragon Pearl. Unforgettable!

We were met at the dock by our "Cruise Director" Kim. He was a funny guy that could command a crowd. We were helped on board and given welcome drinks and a rundown of the next two days. As our boat was smaller than many of the others in the harbor we were able to go further, to more private spots which was great. We had a few shore excursions to go caving, kayaking and to visit a floating fishing village. The food on board was Top Class and plenty of it. Great cocktails too. We were in a great group of 17, all different ages and nationalities. After dinners we all went up on deck and played cards, it was so much fun. Talking to some passengers of larger vessels back at the dock, I was very pleased we opted for a smaller boat.
