We booked an overnight stay on the Jasmine boat bound for Halong Bay. Check in was efficient and were upgraded to a beautiful cabin on the first floor. Our room had a private balcony, large bed and fully stocked bathroom. Super comfy with aircon, we slept very well. The cruise was magnificent, well organised, great food and drinks and the staff on board were attentive and professional. Halong Bay is a must see and this cruise line made it even more special

Our trip planner recommended the Heritage Line Ginger Cruise. She was correct. It is far smaller and a bit faster than most of the lines (12 cabins). It was a 5 star experience all the way. Cooking class, Bicycle ride. Kayaking, Tai Chi and gourmet dining. May be a bit pricey but well worth it, The room was large and rivaled the best hotels. We went for one night and if we were to do it again we might have gone for two. We went in March and it was cooler than we expected.

Just returned from two weeks in Vietnam and this one night cruise aboard the boat Jasmine in Halong Bay was part of that. For a crew that do this cruise every day they were friendly, enthusiastic and professional. Well done to everyone and we would recommend this cruise for this adventure.

We took the two night cruise on the Jasmine and cannot fault the boat, the itinerary, the service or the food. Our hosts Chow and Ann where made us all feel very welcome and were interesting to talk to. The accommodation was above expectation and the food better than any we had in Vietnam on the mainland.

There is nothing like sitting on a beautiful junk boat and watching the sun set over Halong Bay. Our cruise with Heritage Line was incredible. The staff were absolutely amazing and did everything possible to make the cruise special. There was a mix up with our booking (only one room booked instead of the two we needed) but this was resolved quickly and we were upgraded to a deluxe room. The food was delicious, the rooms spacious and comfortable with gorgeous toiletries and robes and the top deck with the sun beds only added to the ambiance. Highly recommend!
