We really enjoyed on trip on the Jasmine Junk. The cabins are small. And we were in the deluxe cabins but you only sleep in them so no problem as you on on one of the decks the other times. There was a lot of haze or mist and I gather it is like that most of the time so not a blue sky trip. But we really enjoyed it. The food was perfectly adequate, staff friendly and the scenery is amazing the island peaks are magical and there are 100’s of them. It’s a must do trip if in the area but I think one night is the right length of time.

We just came back from a 2 night cruise in Halong Bay. The crew on our boat, the Jasmine could not have been better, so well trained and so friendly. The food was some of the best I have eaten in Vietnam. The cabin as a little small but to be expected on a boat. I would recommend this boat and cruise to anyone visiting Halong Bay.

From arriving at the holding office, where lovely drinks were served, to leaving this beautiful ship we were looked after incredibly well. The tour guide on board, Joe, was excellent and explained everything so well. The food was stunning and all the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and to do anything they could to help. It was certainly one of th highlights on our Vietnamese trip. The ship itself was just luxurious and our every need was catered for.

We did just one night on the Jasmine Junk but they really fit in a lot of activities! We got the see the floating village, partook in a cooking demo, did Tai Chi, visited caves and climbed to the top of one of the islands, along with eating a very tasty lunch, dinner and breakfast on the Jasmine. But none of it felt rushed. The staff, every one of them, are so friendly and could not do enough for you. Halong Bay is beautiful and a night (or more) on the Jasmine Junk is the way to go. The rooms are bigger than we expected and very comfortable. You have numerous options out on deck to sit with a cocktail and admire the sights along. Just perfect!
