We had an overnight cruise on the Violet, what a beautiful boat, the food and service was out of this world, throughout our whole tour of Vietnam the food on the boat was definitely the best. The staff are amazing - I cant think of a better way to have seen the beautiful and stunning scenery than on the Violet, thank you very much for making this an unforgettable part of our travels.

Thanks to staffs of the Violet for a wonderful 3 days on board cruising around Halong Bay. Excursions were good and interesting. Food was excellent, the best we had on our 2 week trip. Comfortable cabin had floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the amazing scenery. The cruise was good but the staff on board made it special.

Our overnight cruise on Violet owned by Heritage is an absolutely wonderful way to view Halong Bay. The cruise was magnificent, well organised, great food and drinks and the staff on board were attentive and professional.

We loved our stay on the Halong Violet and if traveling in Vietnam would not hesitate to do the cruise again, hopefully for a longer time. The room was stunning with it's own private balcony, floor to ceiling windows and large bathroom with big jacuzzi tub. The meals were delicious (if a bit overwhelming at times as they were at least 4 courses each). The daily activities were wonderful and included biking through a rain forest, visiting a floating fishing village and kayaking to a private beach. The service was impeccable and the staff did whatever they could to make the trip great. My mother said the massage she got was the best she had in Vietnam.

Traveled from hotel in Hanoi to halong bay a seamless transfer with destination Asia, check in and onto the boat very smooth. Once onboard taken to a very nice cabin then off we went. The highlights of the cruise for ourselves were the fantastic views, the fantastic food and the fantastic staff. They also have a number of enjoyable activities which you can participate in if you wish. All in all a very enjoyable experience that is a must if your tying it in with your visit to Hanoi.
